Silver the Hedgehog is a character in the Sonic series. Silver has been portrayed as a friend or rival of Sonic most commonly a rival. Silver possesses telekinetic powers. He also has a friend named Blaze the Cat. He made his first debut in Sonic Rivels. His latest appearance is in Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. In Sonic The Hedgehog Silver and Blaze are fighting Iblis. Once they stoped him (for the time being.) A black mysterious hedgehog named Mephiles appears. Mephiles tells them to follow him if they want to know who the "Iblis Trigger" is. Mephiles lies and says that Sonic is the Iblis trigger. Silver (like Blaze) comes from an unknown dimention. His duty is to bring peace to his world. He is also a skill type in the winter olympics. Silver is slightly naive.

Sonic Dash
Silver appears in Sonic Dash as a non-playable character. He is revealed to be somewhat of an antagonist much like his role in Sonic the Hedgehog. He was originally considered to be playable but Blaze the Cat ended up playable instead. His antagonistic role may lead to him being a boss.
Super Smash Bros. Collide
Silver is rumored to be in the game as an unlockable only available after Story Mode.
Pikachu's Final Destiny
Silver along with Blaze can be seen exploring Fiery Volcano. One cutscene shows him hiding in a dark sheter with some characters to avoid Mewtwo's Soul Stars.
Silver the Hedgehog
He appears in this game too. It will be similar to the game Shadow the Hedgehog but with minor twists.
RenarioExtreme series
Silver appears in Renan! the chinese anime. He along with Blaze are guarding the town where Renan lives. He also appears as a cameo in some RenarioExtreme series games.
